an endless obsidian plane, seamess and flat in every direction.
the sky filled with planetoid bodies staring down at me through a black veil of cosmic dust and shards of crystal.
every occuring thought droned out of my head by the echoes of planar collision and the colossal footsteps nearing in the distance.
a sudden cold magnetic presence spreads through the space between my atoms, turning them sticky.
and in a timeless motion my body is warped towards the walking horizon
i see him, the latino leviathan, zorro))), the optical migraine
an impervious matter cluster with legs rippling with the semi-sentient bodies of tribes from the eons, disapearing into a roiling distorted ocean
evaporation into a cumulonimbus of galactic storms sprawling with millions of tendrills perpetually blooming and multiplying with at it's core an enormous fox mouth
swallowing a void of smoke mimicking diego's face.
we lock "eyes", triggering the absence of gravity and sound.
the now levitating mountainous monstrosity collapses like a star compressing its massive form into a cloaked silhouette of a man wearing a sombrero cordobes, and he grins

This record yearns and aches with sorrow and hope, tenderness and broken-heartedness, that tears you up. This music reaches out to you. I loved the blend of acoustic, electric, and synth swells. I loved how many of the musical phrases ended on an accent beyond where you expected them to, a feeling both marching and soaring. This album is mottled light through the leaves falling onto the stone walls where you sit, awash in feeling. The swell at the end, cutting into silence, took my breath away. pinkytheent
